31.  Custody and Inspection or Records

 

31.1

Members may on request inspect free of charge:

 

 

31.1.1

the register of Members;

 

 

31.1.2

the minutes of general meetings; and

 

 

31.1.3

subject to Rule 31.2, the financial records, books, securities and any other relevant document of the Association,

on such terms and in such a manner as the Board determines.

 

31.2

The Board may refuse to permit a Member to inspect records of the Association:

 

 

31.2.1

that relate to confidential, personal, employment, commercial or legal matters;

 

 

31.2.2

where to do so may be prejudicial to the interests of the Association; or

 

 

31.2.3

that need not be disclosed under the Act.

 

 

31.3

The Board may refuse to permit a Member to inspect records of the Association:

 

 

 

31.4

Subject to Rule 31.2 and the terms upon which access is granted by the Board, a Member may make a copy of relevant records of the Association referred to in this Rule, provided that the Association may charge a reasonable fee for provision of a copy of such a record.
