A notice may be given by the Association to any Member personally, by post to the Member’s address as set out in the register, or to such facsimile number or e-mail or other electronic address as the Member may have supplied the Association for the giving of notices. The fact that a Member has supplied a fax number or e-mail or other electronic address for the giving of notices does not require the Association to give any notice to that Member by that electronic means.

A notice or other document given by the Association will be deemed to have been served on a Member: | |

in the case of a notice sent by post (including by air mail pursuant to Rule 37.2), at the expiration of 24 hours after the envelope or wrapper containing the same is posted. In proving such service it will be sufficient to prove that the envelope or wrapper containing the notice or document was addressed and put in the post office or a post office letter box; and

in the case of a notice sent by fax, e-mail or other electronic means, on the business day next following the day on which it is sent.

Notice of every general meeting of the Association must be given in the manner set out in this Rule 37 to:

every Member except those Members who (having no registered address within the Commonwealth of Australia) have not provided to the Association an address outside Australia for the giving of notices; and

37.4.2 |
the auditor for the time being of the Association.
