Breakaway days are held 2 days per month, for Adults and Children, with the Adolescent group meeting once a month. The activities are based on a range of different activities that can include outings, sport, cooking, cinema, craft and music. A very popular choice for the people we support.

Special Activities: These activities include visits to local fairs, shows and events. They include the Port Fairy Folk Festival, Koroit Irish Festival, Heywood Wood, Wine & Roses, Valid Conference in Geelong, Casterton Kelpies, Christmas Pageants and visits to the theatre.

These programs are all Community Access, as many of the days are spent at community events.

School Holiday Program: Activities are held twice weekly, during the school holidays, 10am-4.00pm

Young Adults Activities - Will support young adults to access programs that will enable them to establish social links with peers in other towns.  The program is aimed at accessing music, dance, theatre, sport and recreational activities.  Activities could include 10 pin bowling, music events, theatre, nightclubs etc.

Facility based at Ameeyk: Overnight support.  Situated at 107 Hurd Street, Portland.

The house is operated under the Department of Health & Human Services (DHHS) Residential Fire & Safety Guidelines.

1:1 In home care: This option is available when other options are not suitable. Support staff can stay in a participants home, under certain conditions. Staff must be provided with suitable sleeping accommodation, and an OH&S Assessment will need to be completed.  This option is the least cost effective alternative, and will impact on the overall amount of hours that is available

Teen Recreation & Respite: For people between the ages of 12 – 18 years. A program that is youth oriented, and is focused on recreation, sporting & social opportunities, camping and beach activities. Additional activities are held during school holidays.

Active Oceans: In partnership with Mpower, these activities include fishing, sailing and activities associated with a marine theme. Active Oceans programs are distributed on a regular basis.

Ageing Carer Program: This option is for eligible people in line with Department of Social Services regulations. This program is on offer to Respite for Ageing Carer recipients.
