Lalor Street Lunch Room 2 (Mermaid Room)
Lalor Street Circuit breaker/Power outage relates to all:
1. STAFF
2. PARTICIPANTS
3. VISITORS who are present
Triggers
When all electrical equipment is being used such as Toaster, microwave, kettle and fridge the power shorts out in lunch Room 2. This may only happen once in a while.
Purpose
To ensure all Lalor Street Staff & Participants are aware of the correct method in re-booting the power in lunch room 2
Procedure
1. When power shorts out, switch off Toaster, Kettle & Microwave. These are on the same circuit and it has been over loaded. This may only happen once in a while.
2. Go to the switch board in the entrance passage and open the cupboard door that says switch board.
3. Open the power box in the cupboard and look for the switch numbered 5
4. Once you have located the right circuit switch push it back up to meet the other switches on the same row.
5. Close cupboard and switch on what you need to use in lunch room.
6. If it doesn’t turn off report to maintenance
