Manager/Staff date and record any operational matters in diary to ensure all Windward staff is kept up to date;
In case of break downs or OHS related matters contact Plant Protection on 5420 to arrange for work orders for:
•OHS Alerts; these require special attention Work orders must be raised immediately
•Problems must be addressed and rectified ASAP. Isolate equipment where possible
•Maintenance requirements on equipment used in work shop
•Ordering of laundry detergent, contract cleaners
Make a note of person contacted, date and time in dairy
Staff; it is important to follow up within a week of initial contact to ensure work orders were issued
At times it is also necessary to isolate equipment e.g. washing machine flooding floor, excessive noise from rag cutter. Isolation Procedure: Remove plug from wall socket = TG
Other operational matters: Record workshop related issues/activities/ as they occur on the day e.g. jobs delivered to work shop and “delivery dates” where/when applicable. PPE matters etc in diary
DO NOT RECORD related support provided directly to the employee in dairy, record on Carelink or WIF-18 Evidence of Support Provided Form.
Communication on work for the following day to be recorded on white board in laundry.
