Position Purpose:
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this position will provide contemporary leadership to the Corporate Services Team and work in close consultation with all other key internal stakeholders. This includes corporate planning, finance, IT, marketing of the organisation, the human resource functions including training needs, oversight of Kyeema’s assets and continuous improvement/quality processes.

The Corporate Services Manager will establish an integrated framework of performance measurement, reporting processes and associated documentation that articulates Kyeema’s strategic direction and is compliant with relevant legislation.
The position plays a key role in setting long-term direction and contributing to reporting on overall performance. It is expected that this role, under the broad direction of the CEO, is responsible for Kyeema’s corporate functions and ensuring that Kyeema is well positioned to be a leader in the disability sector within the Portland area. The Corporate Services Manager contributes to ensuring that new programs/ventures fit within the mission, vision and scope set by the Board and enhances the over-all capability of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
This is a key leadership role and therefore, to operate successfully, the person will be expected to:
• Inspire, motivate, and provide leadership to their team including corporate planning; Finance, IT, Admin services, HR/Training, Assets, Quality Assurance, and Risk Management - Taking responsibility for their own performance as well as the performance of people in their team including overseeing staff safety and development,
• Commit and contribute to organisational and team objectives as operationalised under Kyeema’s strategic plan,
• Ensure Board, legislative and NDIS reporting, and requirements are met in a timely fashion,
• Think and act strategically in identifying new opportunities within Kyeema’s mission for expansion,
• Maintain, service, and purchase corporate assets to meet the needs of the organisation,
• Manage corporate risk and budgets effectively.

Design and deliver a wide range of best practice corporate policies and practices that support the development of a constructive, cohesive, accessible, and inclusive working environment for all employees.
Corporate Planning
• Establish and maintain effective and collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, to ensure coordinated planning, policy and service development and advocacy for improved corporate outcomes.
• Develop, implement, and review policies as required which will lead to enhanced alignment with and achievement of the organisational Vision, Mission, and strategic objectives.
• Provide exceptional leadership to the Corporate Services team to ensure performance targets and budgets are achieved in accordance with strategic plans, service plans and funding agreements.
• Actively promote a culture that is constructive, innovative and focuses on continuous improvement, embrace change and help others to do the same by applying skills that combine strong leadership with the ability to motivate, inspire and foster a team environment.
Business & Financial Management
• Manage and continuously improve the cost effective and efficient provision of Kyeema’s services with a strong customer focus and in accordance with Kyeema policies and government regulations and guidelines.
• Ensure the development of an annual budget by service type.
• Manage revenue and expenditure within the agreed budget.
• Participate in all corporate planning and reporting activities.
• Oversee tender processes for the delivery of new services,
• Manage risk, budget, resources, and facilities associated with Kyeema, including ensuring that relevant grants, funding, and subsidies are applied for and properly acquitted.
• Providing high quality information to management about the interpretation, risks and impacts associated with emerging State and Federal policy directions, service reforms and/or legislative requirements within the disability context.
• Investigating, analysing, and recommending policy options/directions for Kyeema underpinned by sound community, organisational and contextual knowledge.
• Assisting in preparing and developing submissions on behalf of Kyeema with a view to enhancing local community outcomes and for the organisation.
• Contributing specialist expertise and knowledge into planning processes during meetings and workshops.
People & Organisational Leadership
• Create and maintain a culture that supports high levels of performance and staff engagement.
• Provide guidance and direction to corporate staff through team and individual performance indicators (work plans) and ensure formal appraisals of all staff in the team,
• Maintain an appropriate staffing structure for the department.
• Support the development of the Corporate employees,
• Lead regular team communication including team meetings, email, and verbal communication.
