Key Responsibilities
• Utilise a range of tools/equipment used in the gardening trade
• Behave in a manner appropriate to standard workplace expectations
• Abide by the Occupational Health & Safety Regulations Act 2004 and legislative requirements
• Consider the safety and well-being of yourself and other colleagues before undertaking tasks
• Perform tasks to the best of your capability ensuring they meet Green Fingers Gardening Services quality standards
• Attend additional training where required
• Notify your Supervisor of any concerns you may have regarding your colleagues, workplace or equipment
• Ask your Supervisor or Support Worker for help when required
Child Safe Responsibilities
•Kyeema holds a policy of zero tolerance to racism and has expectations that staff and volunteers will act on incidents of racism

Duties Performed
• Contribute as a team member in Occupational Health & Safety issues
• Gardening maintenance including but not limited to mowing, weeding, pruning, hedging, edge trimming, rubbish removal, mulching and general tidy up
• Preparation of gardening equipment including but not limited to loading and unloading equipment
• Communicate with customers when required
Objective of role
Provide high quality gardening services to Kyeema and the community in a safe manner that meet the Occupational Health & Safety Regulations Act 2004.
