Residential Noise:
Times below indicate when loud noise is required to cease under Noise Restriction Laws.
•Monday - Thursday - after 10.00pm and before 7.00a.m.
•Friday - after 11.00pm
•Saturday & Public Holidays - after 11.00pm and before 9.00am
•Sunday - after 10.00pm and before 9.00am
Police can act if noise continues outside of these hours.
If noise levels are above being acceptable and outside of the above times as follows:
All contact with the Police is to be handled via the Program Manager
Staff are not permitted to communicate with neighbours under any circumstances, regarding the noise levels.
Ameeyk staff must contact the On Call mobile number 0417 156 239 when noise occurs out of noise procedure hours

•Police need to know the following information
− You are from Kyeema Support Services Respite House
− Address, 107 Hurd Street
− Program Manager is to provide the Police with their name, (this gives the Police the knowledge, that it is not an anonymous complaint.)
− Describe the noise levels
− Ask the Police not to inform the neighbours, who has made the complaint.
− Request that the Police record the complaint in the log book.
The above times are the legal requirement, however, in the interests of promoting good relations with our neighbours, please use your better judgement, in what is acceptable in varied situations.
