Policy

All new employees, transferred employees, employees of contractors and visitors will be provided OH&S induction.

 

Definitions

Visitors - are accompanied at all times on site by an employee of Kyeema Support Services Inc.

 

Procedure

New and Transferred Employees

      Pre-employment check to be completed by the Program Manager prior to commencement

      “First Day Induction” is to be provided by the relevant Manager/supervisor. 

      All items on the First Day Induction Checklist are to be explained to the employee.

      A record of this induction is to be signed by the Supervisor and employee and held under “Induction Records” in the Department file.

 

Employees of Contractors

      Contractor induction is to be provided by the Program Manager responsible for the contract or an employee delegated by that Program Manager. 

      All items on the Contractor Induction Checklist are to be explained and the Record of Induction signed by both the person providing the induction and the contractor’s employee. 

      This record is to be filed by the section responsible for the contract.

 

Visitors

      Visitors are to sign in a visitor’s book at the site.
