Position: On Call 

Award and Condition: Kyeema Enterprise Agreement

Hours: By Arrangement

Responsible to: Supports Manager, Chief Executive Officer

 

Objective of role

The purpose of out of hours On Call is to provide additional safety and support to participants and staff by ensuring experienced staff members are available at all times.

 

Key Responsibilities

           Have the phone and the On Call Folder in your possession at all times

           Act in a supportive role to after-hours and weekend activities and programs

           Support callers with any issues to adhere to Occupational Health & Safety guidelines in decisions

           Undertake On Call in a manner that supports Kyeema’s mission and vision statements

           Document any communication including phone calls and text messages on the sheets provided in the on call folder

 

Key Duties

           Respond to all phone calls to the 0417 156 239 mobile. This phone may be carried in your possession at all times or the number diverted to your preferred phone

           If a critical issue occurs contact the CEO or Supports Manager

           Provide support & direction to staff, participants and carers when required

           Take message from participants, families or carers who ring the on call phone. Non pressing issues can be dealt with during office hours

           If any non-critical but important issues arise while you are On Call provide the appropriate person with a verbal report and or written notes, on the first working day after On Call
