OH&S legislation requires employers to provide a safe workplace.
Kyeema Support Services Inc. is obliged to consult with employees and health & safety representatives on all proposed changes to the workplace, work procedure plant and substances.
When purchasing new plant and equipment be mindful of its purpose and whether it is safe and suitable for that purpose when used by, for, or around people with a disability.
Risk assessment should be carried out where possible prior to purchasing:
•All plant, equipment and tools
•All lifting equipment
