Seawinds Procedure for Reversing / Refunding Transactions

 

For EFTPOS Transactions

 

      Enter clerk I.D

      Press management tab – Top right-hand corner

      Press reverse transaction

      Select the transaction that needs to be removed- Press view

      Press Reverse to confirm

      Present Card – Customer card on EFTPOS handset & enter pin

      Give the customer copy of EFTPOS receipt

      Press the close button to return to the main menu

 

*Partial fund (yellow button) is not available. A full refund will need to be made and a new transaction completed.

 

 

For cash refunds

      Follow the first 4 steps of procedure as above- Return cash to customer from till drawer. Print receipt.

      EFTPOS handset is not working – Check that it is resting correctly on the cradle.

      Reset Pin pad OFFLINE ERROR -Press both Yellow (clear) & Func (function) buttons simultaneously.

      No internet Connection - Red Icon bottom right hand corner on SWIFTPOS lock screen. Remove small USB from cord (located between POS screen and keyboard) and return to main menu.
