Portals > Add or Manage Personnel in eBusiness DFFH - Procedure
Authorised by Chief Executive Officer
Date: 5 October 2023
Access to an eBusiness log in the Victorian Department of Families Fairness Housing (DFFH) is necessary for staff with responsibilities for corporate reporting and/or who require access to the Restrictive Intervention Data System (RIDS) regarding participant Behaviour Support Plans. The reason for RIDS access is that Victoria runs a tandem system for behaviour support alongside the NDIS Commission.
Creating an eBusiness account
Go to the DFFH Website via the following link. https://hns.dhs.vic.gov.au/EUSPortal/index.jsp This will take you to the eBusiness Login. Once there click on, I want to register and follow the procedure.
Managing Access for other staff
When someone from your organisation
registers for eBusiness (eBiz), you will receive an email with the following
subject titled: "eBusiness user registration requires your
attention"
To validate a request, please perform the following
steps:
1. Click on the link to login to eBusiness: https://hns.dhs.vic.gov.au/EUSPortal/index.jsp
2. Click on the Enterprise User Service (EUS) application
3. Click on the Validate Registration link
4. Click on the name of the person to open up the details the user has requested.
5. Click on the Validate button to confirm the user works for your organization
6. Click on the Confirm button.
If the user does not work for your organisation, click on the Reject button and enter a reason why in the text field box and then click on the Confirm button.
The
request will then go to the application administrator of whatever application
the user has applied for.
Applying for other applications when a user already has an eBusiness account:
1. Login to eBiz
2. Click on the Additional Application Access tab
3. Click on the Select Application from list
4. Click on the Green APPLY Button under the List
5. Select the appropriate role you need from the list (if no roles to select, then you will get the default access for the application)
6. Click on the Green APPLY Button after appropriate role is selected
Request will now be waiting to be validated by Organisation Authority
To check for a list of users registered under your organisation, please perform the following steps:
1. Click on the link to login to eBusiness: https://hns.dhs.vic.gov.au/EUSPortal/index.jsp
2. Click on the Enterprise User Service (EUS) application
3. Click on the User Management link
4. Click on the Search button to check the names of the users registered within your organization
The list of registered users will then be displayed
If you have to
get a user/users deleted, please send an email to eBiz@dhs.vic.gov.au providing the username
and the UUID number. At no stage should you delete the organisational role
from the user's account as it triggers an email to the eBusiness Administrator
and also causes the account to be orphaned.
The eBusiness Administrator
will then arrange to get the user/users deleted once they have no access to any
applications.
If a user requires to change their name, you will receive
an email with the subject titled as: "eBusiness - Change of User Details
requires your attention"
To validate this type of request , please
perform the following steps:
1. Login to eBiz
2. Click on the Enterprise User
Service (EUS) application
3. Click on the Request Management
link.
4. Click on the
Request ID number to open up the request.
The name of the user changing their name will be displayed. If you feel that the user has not changed their name, please click on the Reject button detailing your reasons why.
Otherwise click on the Accept
& Validate button and then click on the Confirm
button.
The username will then be changed.
